Hi, I'm Louise Anne Porciuncula :) I'm a member of the Lumban Mennonite Bible Church here in the Philippines.
At present, I teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to Korean students here. I am currently "exploring" the field of language teaching... Previously, I've worked as a researcher and writer for a couple of non-government organizations... particularly those focusing on poverty, education and community development.
Since I started living here in the city (our church is in the province)... I'm not as active as I used to be. However, I occasionally join the music group, as well as our "Saturday night" youth fellowships when I come home to Lumban.
My "passions" include reading, writing poetry... and singing! I feel most at peace when I sing, and I believe that music is really an intimate way of connecting with our God. I also love having "heart-to-heart" talks with friends, sharing and "receiving" advice about life and anything under the sun.
I am happy to be a part of this blog together with Remilyn, Jessica, Elina and other young Mennonites from all over Asia. Through this, I am looking forward to "sharing" with you.
God bless you all!
